About Sonslink

Destiny

We were created with purpose, but it is more than a cause. In Christ we are destined to please the Father (do His will). We are destined to greatness in the Kingdom. Jesus Christ, the Son, fulfilled His divine destiny by bringing glory to the Father as only the Son could do. In Christ we fulfill our divine destiny to bring glory to the Father through the Son by the Holy Spirit. We all have a unique contribution to make in the Kingdom for which we were created, and that only we can fulfill, together.

Sonslink is a commitment to aid one another by all means possible to fulfill our destiny.

Succession

We believe that God is challenging the present generation with the question of succession. What plan do we have for continuing what God is doing with us after we are gone? This question causes us to contemplate our mortality and to consider what legacy we wish to leave behind. In the Kingdom of God it is never too early to seek the will of God concerning preparing the next generation. It is the heart of a father to rear sons who can outpace him. The essence of fatherhood is to see his sons be more successful than himself and to spend his life releasing them to their destiny. The core of sonship is to prefer one another and to defer to one another for maximum mutual benefit. Our success is inseparably linked to our plans for succession. Transgenerational transfer is the most natural (as God intended) way of making disciples. Fathers releasing sons is God’s means of succession.

Sonslink is a challenge to consider what legacy we will leave behind.

Legacy

We are discovering the most significant relationship in the universe is the fellowship of Fathers and Sons. There is no greater legacy a person can leave on this earth than children who love God, seek the Kingdom, and in turn leave like-minded offspring. This is true spiritually as well as naturally. By the way, spiritual sonship has nothing to do with gender. Male and female alike are sons, just as male and female are both members of the Bride of Christ. In the Kingdom of God it is all about the WHO not the what. It is not what you leave or how much your estate is worth. The Kingdom is all about WHO you leave behind. The greatest legacies a person can leave behind are sons, spiritual and natural, who pursue the Kingdom of God. God’s desires a family as his inheritance and calls us to be the family of God for Him and for one another.

Sonslink is the call to leave a legacy of Kingdom-captured sons.
