Sons Gatherings

Genuine personal relationships are the goal of our connections.  Authentic fellowship is the purpose of our communication.  Serving together to bring glory to the Father is the reason for our complementation.

The initial and intentional means for achieving real relational connection are our Sons Gatherings.  Sons Gatherings are simply gatherings of sons for a concentrated period of time (usually 4-5 days).  These gatherings are low on content and high on personal contact.  Each attendee is encouraged to share his story in an atmosphere of honesty and trust.  Sons Gatherings are safe environments only a spiritual father can create.

Firecreek Mountain is the primary setting for Sons Gatherings.  FireCreek Mountain is a fifty-eight acre mountain retreat brimming with lush natural beauty and inspiration. Located near the highest mountain peaks east of the Mississippi, FireCreek is nestled in Yancey County, home to more artisans per capita than in any other county in the United States.

These remarkable assemblies have proven to be both pivotal and seminal for those who participate.  The impact of the gatherings will only be measured in heaven.  Sons Gatherings are merely launching pads from which real relationships can be established and find expression.

Next Gathering is planned for June 17-21, 2013.

Joe & Evi Huntsman on the impact of spiritual fathers in their lives.

Testimonies of Attendees:

“Riveting…Revelatory…Real…  I’ll never be the same; sonship is transformational.” – Pat McGrew

"Were not our hearts burning, overflowing with His presence as we shared together?  I have never, in my life, experienced such an outpouring of Spirit-filled, God-breathed genuine love.  We tasted what it will be like when we are in heaven and know as we are known." - Joe Huntsman

“This was a pivotal shift in my walk with the Lord.  This meeting encouraged me to see God and His Kingdom in ways I’ve never known.  Also, I’ve learned to see myself in light of being a Son in this Kingdom!  I will be back!” – Robert White

"Wow! I came expectant – I came hungry – and I came needy. I went away grateful – humbled – and joyful! What I saw and experienced was something I always thought Christianity should be but had given up on ever seeing much less experiencing." - Dan Hill

“The gathering has exceeded all my expectations.  I have encountered God in a way like never before.  It has been a life change of transparent, practical, theological revelation, that I will cherish forever.” – RS Emerson

“I came to Firecreek an orphan.  I’m leaving a son.  For the first time in my life I understand the love of the Father and the love of brothers.  My life is forever changed!” – Tom Guess.
